Service Description

Provides library services for college students, faculty and surrounding community; Transappalachian Room houses a collection of rare books on the history of Greene County and is open to the public on Mondays and Fridays from 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M.

Available Hours

September to May: Sunday 2:00 p.m. to midnight, Monday to Thursday 7:30 a.m. to midnight, Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m Hours are limited when the university in not in session.

smileAPPRISE, a health insurance counseling program for senior citizens (age 65 +) has a new coordinator.  It is estimated that there are hundreds of people in Greene County who are paying for Medicare Part D when they don't have to.  Individuals need to check the income eligibility guidelines each year and now extra help is being offered through Medicare's Low Income Subsidy that can save an average of $3900 a year for individuals who qualify.  Call APPRISE staff at 888-300-2704 Ext. 4438
